WAY. ALTRUISTIC. INTELLECTUALLY

ATHENA

Athena, one of the Olympian gods

Considered primarily as the goddess of wisdom, the arts, war and military victory as well as military strategy. Her parents were Zeus, the king of the gods, and Metis, who was a Titan.

Her symbols include armor, olive trees, snakes and owls. She is usually depicted either in full armor or in a long robe.

Of all the goddesses, Athena is said to have been Zeus' favorite goddess

And many believe that this is due to her birth. There are many versions of her birth, but all stories agree that she emerged from Zeus' forehead full-grown and clad in battle armor. Because of her origins, Athena is primarily associated with wisdom and other intellectual pursuits such as battle strategy and art.

According to the stories, Athena never had a lover, husband, or husband, and she was highly respected for her sense of modesty. Therefore she is also known as “Virgin Athena”. The Parthenon in Athens was built for them and is their most famous temple. Sexual modesty was a valued trait in the patriarchal society of ancient Greece.

Patron goddess of many well-known heroes

She is often depicted leading soldiers into battle, which led to her being revered everywhere. She was the patron goddess of many well-known heroes such as Odysseus, Jason and Hercules.

Although associated with war, she was very reluctant to use violence to resolve conflicts. As an intellectual, she preferred to use her wisdom to avoid conflict. When she did have to fight, she did so with a sense of purpose and effectiveness.

Athena is one of the most popular Olympian goddesses

Especially because she embodies wisdom and intellectual thinking, qualities that were highly prized by the ancient Greeks.

She was also the goddess of war, more specifically, of military strategy. Their influence can still be seen today in the Parthenon in Athens.

“Never trust your fears. They don't know your strength."
