Freya - The Norse Vanguard Goddess,

The beautiful goddess of fertility and spring, happiness and love.

Freya was associated with love, sex, lust, beauty, magic, fertility, gold, war and death, making her clearly one of the most powerful Nordic deities.

Like many of the Norse gods, Freya rode in a chariot, but her chariot was pulled by two black cats named Bygul and Trjegul.

While half of the fallen warriors reach Odin, Freyja welcomes the other half - the Valkyries - into her hall, which is called Sessrumnir. The souls remain there until they are called upon to fight again at Ragnarök, the end of the world.

"Beauty and Sexuality"

Freya had no problem using her beauty and sexuality to get what she wanted. For example, she developed a deep longing for the Brisingamen necklace, the most beautiful piece of jewelry in Nordic mythology, made by four dwarven brothers.

The only payment the dwarves accepted for the necklace was one night each with the goddess. Freyja agreed to the terms and spent a night with each of the four dwarves. The conditions were met and the necklace was hers. Freyja returned to her bower as if nothing had happened.

The Brisingamen enhanced Freya's magical powers and was an important item in her magic.

Magic and witchcraft

Freya has a cloak with falcon feathers that allows her to fly in the form of a falcon. This cloak is also associated with guest alt transformation, so Freya is considered the goddess of magic and sorcery.
She has also been specifically associated with Seidr magic, a type of magic that involves discerning the course of fate and working within its structure to bring about change by weaving in new events. This was a very feminine form of magic.

Freyja bestowed treasure upon the earth whenever she wept. When their tears hit rocks, they turned into gold; If they fell into the water, they turned to amber.
